<description>What I like about small business owners is that they are not afraid to take huge risks and lay it all on the line. But, I agree they do need a lot of help with their marketing. I think having them go the social media and email route is not only the least expensive but its also the most effective. Thanks for the stats!
With Facebook and Twitter being among the leaders of the Social networks, marketing as a small business is being transformed..
Respondents according to the Vertical Response survey appear to need some differentiation with the use of SE marketing and Social media Marketing

		<description>Tom,
I would totally agree. I believe there are a number of other things including:
1) Security - for both data movement but also management
2) Off-line data protection - provide backup and recovery even when not connected to the internet
3) Backup more often than every 24 hours

I would say that there are a number of products that allow you to decide what file types you do or don&#039;t want to protect, I would say most all solutions allow you to do this, but to very little granularity, in other words, you do or do not protect this file type. The Avamar solution allows you to do this as well. I know of no product that allows you to set different retentions or that type of management of different file types. As far as the automated deployment - some technologies have this functionality others integrate with Microsoft technology that helps to deploy agents in a Windows environment. The Avamar technology does the latter. I do think these features are key and have provided good things for others to think about.

		<description>Steve:
Great analysis. Two other options that BU Admins would like to add to your list of three are (1) Centralized policy management, e.g. predetermine file type to be protected, and (2) Automated deployment requiring minimal user involvement for activation.
Would you agree with these feature requirements, and are there any products that do this?
